Trees that give life
MEPSA successful experience that has managed total tree planting in schools
A few weeks after the end of 2007, we can say “mission accomplished” in relation to tree planting program and installation of Ecological pans in the schools where MEPSA undertook to plant life.
Altogether there are about 700 trees have been planted in MEPSA educational institutions in the educational network of district No. 13 of The Augustine, and the respective facility for recycling bins and organic solid waste.
The experience embodied in our just cause was the enthusiastic participation of our collaborators, who joined us at the project to plant trees alongside the girls and boys in schools.
This community support, has really aroused extraordinary impressions. “For many children is the first time I plant a tree, it encourages and generates commitment of caring for the environment is everyone’s job,” said Carlos Miranda, Chief Human Relations and Community.
Each task of tree planting or delivery of the green bins became a celebration of the educational community. Children adopted a tree that we delivered us into their own hands.
You will be the unforgettable memory of their happy faces and their sincere commitment to protecting the environment. The principals considered their allies in us a desire to achieve rather postponed. From this we thank our partners who joined the campaign for his social sense of community support. We still have much to do.
