Another important contribution to children
Learn Kung Fu and Tai Chi
In May 2007 opened the “Learning the martial discipline of Kung Fu and Tai Chi” for school and college sector Educational Network No. 13 of the district of El Augustino.
This action was another important contribution MEPSA directed at children between 4 and 16. The reception was spectacular. Until November the number of participants rose to 1300 levels, primary and secondary schools.
In September 2007, the Selection of Kung Fu and Tai Chi Educational Network No. 13, sponsored by MEPSA, won second place in the category of the first state school of Martial Arts Championship organized by the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. At the Regional Championship in Lima is crowned in the first place.
On 20 October, the students of our School of Martial Arts Kung Fu and Tai Chi participated in the National Martial Arts Championships organized by school Lung Yen embracing another first.
In November, there was the First Inter School Championship & Club Kung Fu Martial Arts – Tai chi: FIRST CUP MEPSA. The tournament was
conducted in Japan involving Peru school of 182 students from educational institutions of the Network 13 and four schools invited Lima and Callao.
The championship was sponsored by MEPs and the International Martial Arts Federation (FIDAM).
Also that month, students participated in the documentary produced by Metro Sports in the premises of the Catholic University.
In December opened “Club Deportivo MEPSA Elderly Tai Chi – Red No. 13″ on the front of the Spring Health Center.
As we see, we have supported this initiative from the beginning has grown significantly. And MEPSA commitment is to continue encouraging the healthy growth of children with sport.
It is the best legacy we can bequeath to children.
